Student assistance

When you give to the Student Assistance Fund, you make it possible for more than 100 students each year to attend Indiana Academy. Your support opens doors for students who are eager to learn and grow but may not have the financial means to do so on their own.

Cafeteria Renovation

A quality food service program is the cornerstone of a successful boarding school experience. At Indiana Academy, we are blessed with incredible food service staff who pour their care, talent, and dedication into serving our students every day. They do more than prepare meals—they nourish our community.

This fundraiser is our opportunity to show our appreciation by investing in the cafeteria and kitchen spaces that support their work.

Thanks to generous support, we have already made significant progress:

  • The kitchen floor has been replaced

  • Walls have been freshly painted

  • New equipment has been installed

We are now just one step away from completion.

Our final goal is to finish the dining room by installing new carpet and completing the remaining painting. These final touches will create a warm, refreshed, and welcoming space for students and staff to gather.

Music Department Challenge

The Indiana Academy Music Program is a key part of our effort to educate the whole student. This program has allowed us to both foster spiritual growth in our students, and give an outlet for them to share Christ with a vast variety of audiences. Running a music program with Band, Choir, Bells, an assortment of music lessons, and praise teams takes a commitment, both in time and in resources.

We are excited by our new instrument as well as our new risers. We would like to thank all of our donors for their support in fulfilling our goals.

LIBRARY RENOVATION

We’ve renovated the Library into the Collaborative Learning Commons, complete with new flooring, lighting, flexible seating, and access to the technology our students need as they become digital citizens in the 21st century. Thank you for your support on this exciting project. (The Library was the last classroom of the Ad Building yet to be renovated!)

Home Economics Classroom

We strive to provide well-maintained and up-to-date facilities to the students who attend Indiana Academy. In the Spring of 2020, we began our most recent Campus Improvement project, the remodel of our Home Economics classroom! Our newly remodeled Home Economics classroom features all-new epoxy flooring, stainless steel appliances and work surfaces, and movable tables and chairs to accommodate the varied uses of the space.

The amenities offered by this facility will not only be enjoyed by students enrolled in Essentials of Living; the room is frequently used for Health class and for preparing regional dishes in Spanish, English, and History classes. Project 58 will utilize the space when sewing blankets for at-risk mothers or baking cookies for community members. Visitors also use this space during events such as Alumni Weekend and Camp Meeting. Thank you to all of the donors who made this tremendous addition to campus possible!
