Welcome To Indiana Academy

Indiana Academy is a Christian, private high school dedicated not only to the academic development of the mind and body, but also the soul.  Owned and managed by the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Indiana Academy is one of 50+ similar academies in United States and Canada.  Students from surrounding states and several international countries attend this boarding academy for grades nine through twelve.  Class sizes are small with focused attention from our dedicated teachers and staff.  Indiana Academy has a graduation rate of over 95% and most of our graduates continue on to complete a college degree.  All academy students are encouraged to learn practical work skills and many work opportunities are offered, both on campus and off.  Our primary focus is to prepare our students for service in this world, and in the world to come.  We believe that the work of education and the work of redemption are one.

Road trips for IA students!

This year we are planning two unique retreats for IA students. In September two required school-wide retreats will take place – one for the girls and one for the guys. From Tuesday, September 8 through Sunday, September 13, the girls will travel to the Wilderness State Park in Michigan for a special time together. As a continuation of last year’s successful Purity Retreat, the girls and IA female staff members will discuss topics important to their Christian development, as well as enjoy the local scenery. A trip to Mackinaw Island will be included in the event. The guys’ retreat, beginning on Sunday, September 6 and concluding on Sunday, September 13, will feature a wilderness canoeing adventure in the beautiful boundary waters of Minnesota. They will be joined by IA male staff members and selected mentors from the Cicero SDA Church.    The purpose for both these retreats is threefold: personal growth, relationship development and communing with Christ in nature.  Village students will contribute $40 toward the meal costs for these trips.
